After a day of meetings, we had a chance for a leisurely boat ride on the Singapore River. I tried to get some good photos, but I just had my pocket camera, which doesn't do as well in low light as the "big camera", but here's one that should give you an idea of the wonderful colors along the river at night. The river is lined with restaurants, as well as some historic buildings, and the modern skyscrapers of the financial district.We stopped at a street Hagen-Das stand before catching the train back to our hotel.
Yippee! I am so glad that you guys did this! Have fun. Prepare Judy for the aftermath of 2 containers when she returns! :) When we went to the Nutcracker, they had us write our New Year's Wish on white beach balls. Then later, when we road the boat through the bay, there were a million white beach balls floating in the water. Fun!
